Hanover Fire Department Receives Zoll Comprehensive Trauma Kit 12/20/22

The Hanover Fire Department is pleased to have taken delivery of the Zoll Mobilize Comprehensive Rescue System. This unit is designed to assist the layperson first responder with treating a multitude of different medical and trauma patients while help from fire/EMS is on the way. The system has an integrated touch screen that instructs the user step by step through the treatment process up until the point that Hanover Fire arrives on the scene. At this point, the system will provide a time-stamped treatment summary for Hanover firefighter/paramedics to use as they continue patient care.

This unit will be utilized when the Hanover Emergency Shelter is activated and will assist Hanover CERT members with any possible medical or trauma emergencies while EMS resources are responding to the scene.

Funding for this equipment was obtained from the FY21 MEMA Citizen Corps Program Grant.
