The Hanover Fire Department proudly serves the residents, businesses, and visitors of Hanover, Massachusetts, as a comprehensive “all-hazards” emergency services organization. Each year, our department responds to approximately 3,400 emergency and non-emergency calls, delivering a wide range of critical services to our community.

The Hanover Fire Department operates as a Combination Department, consisting of both career (full-time) firefighters and dedicated on-call personnel. Our career staff are organized into four operational groups, providing round-the-clock coverage—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We maintain and operate from two strategically located fire stations:

Headquarters

• 32 Center Street, Hanover, MA
• Staffed 24/7 and serves as the central hub for operations, fire prevention division and administration.

Station 3

• 925 Circuit Street, Hanover, MA
• Supports response operations with additional apparatus and resources.

Our department is equipped with a modern and diverse fleet of apparatus and vehicles to meet the demands of emergency response in a suburban and wooded environment. Our resources include:
