Hanover Fire Department Gains New Deputy Fire Chief 2/25/23

The Hanover Fire Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Captain Gino Deacetis to Deputy Fire Chief. Deputy DeAcetis began his career at Hanover Fire as a Call Firefighter with Company 4 on September 1, 1984. He was hired as a Career Firefighter on April 13, 1998, and promoted to the rank of Captain on October 8, 2011. Gino has been an active and passionate member of the department for his entire career. Most recently, he has taken an active role in the Department Training Program. He has also been the fire department liaison with the Regional Old Colony Communications Center since we moved there 18 months ago. Congratulations, Deputy!
