Hanover Fire Department Awarded Automated External Defibrillator Equipment Grant 6/3/22

The Hanover Fire Department is pleased to announce that we have been awarded an Automated External Defibrillator Equipment Grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security. These funds will be utilized to purchase AEDs and related critical life-saving equipment for use by our firefighters. This equipment will assist responders in ensuring access to early defibrillation during cardiac-related medical incidents.

 

This year's grant is worth $1,140 and will allow Hanover Fire to purchase new AED’s without any impact to the department’s taxpayer-funded operating budget.
