Hanover Fire Department 2019 Firefighter of the Year

Congratulations to Firefighter/Paramedic, Chris Azizian, for receiving the Hanover Fire Department’s Firefighter of the Year Award.  Chris is a dedicated member of the department who serves on the Honor Guard, is a Medial Specialist with the the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team, and is Union President of Local 2726.  The Award was presented at the annual Firefighter Sunday observances on June 9, 2019.

Firefighter of the Year Award Criteria

The firefighter of the year award is presented to the member of the department who has best exemplified the standards of excellence in service to the community subscribed to by the fire department. This member demonstrates consistent and outstanding performance of their duties above what is normally expected throughout the course of the year.
