COVID-19 Assessment and Testing at Cardinal Cushing 5/8/20

On Wednesday, May 6, 2020, our Mobile Integrated Health Firefighter/Paramedics conducted COVID-19 assessment and testing for over thirty residential students at Cardinal Cushing School. In keeping with the program’s goal of protecting the most at risk in the community, this proactive initiative’s objective was to identify possible positive cases so that steps could be taken to prevent spread on the campus. This was a collaborative effort that brought together assistance and resources from several agencies including Cardinal Cushing Centers, the Hanover Board of Health, Hanover Fire Department, South Shore Health, Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
