Town of Hanover Black Bear Sighting 7/26/23

The Hanover Police Department would like to advise our residents that a black bear is making his way through town. The bear was last seen on an East Street property eating out of a trash barrel.
As a reminder, please do not approach the bear. Do not shoot the bear. Do not leave children or small pets unattended. Keep your trash cans closed and secured. Please consider taking down any bird feeders on your property.
