As a reminder, Fiscal Year 2022 First Quarter real estate tax bills are due on August 2, 2021.

There are several payment options available for residents to pay their taxes without physically visiting Town Hall:

Online Payments

Payments may be made online by visiting the Town of Hanover Treasurer/Collector's Office and choosing Online Payments from the menu. Please keep in mind that the bank charges a fee based on the type of payment and the amount being processed. Payments from a resident’s bank account are charged $.50 per transaction by UniBank. Payments made by debit or credit card are charged a fee based on the transaction amount. All fees for online payments are charged by the bank; the Town has no control over fees assessed by the bank.

Online payment processing is available as long as the payment is made on or before the due date. Late payments may be mailed to the Town of Hanover Collector's Office at 550 Hanover Street Suite 31, Hanover, MA 02339.

Payment by Mail

Payments in the form of a check may be mailed with the payment coupon and enclosed envelope (this is a lockbox account with a Reading, MA address). Payments may also be made through a resident’s individual bank by processing a payment via an e-check (electronic check).
