The Town of Hanover Treasurer and Collector’s Office will be closed on Fridays. We kindly ask residents to plan their in-person visits Monday through Thursday during regular business hours. Please visit our Online Payments page for convenient, 24/7 access to secure payment options. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Treasurer/Collector's Office manages various financial operations, including processing all receipts, issuing payroll and vendor payments, and overseeing the collection of tax titles (tax liens). Additionally, the Treasurer/Collector is responsible for issuing both short-term and long-term debt.

Online Payments

Payments may be made online by clicking the "Pay Your Bill" link. Please remember that bank charges are fee-based (UniPay Fee Schedule). Fees are based on the type of payment and the amount being processed. Fees for online payments are charged by the bank. The town has no control over fees assessed by the bank.

E-Check Payments

Electronic check payments should be addressed to the Town of Hanover Collector's Office, 550 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339.

Payment by Mail

Beginning December 12, 2025, the Treasurer/Collector’s Office will update its bill mailing address to improve payment processing efficiency. Please be sure to reference your most recent invoice to ensure your payments are sent to the correct location. The new mailing address for all payments is:

In-Person Payments

Taxpayers may make in-person payments at the Treasurer/Collector's Office (on the first floor as you walk into the main entrance) or use the Town Hall front door mail slot after hours.
