The Town of Hanover adheres to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 60A regarding the issuance of excise tax, demand, warrant, warrant notice, and RMV block, which all include a fee schedule.

The tax collector seasonably notifies the owner of the excise assessed and the due date, but failure to receive notice shall not affect the validity of the excise tax or any interest and fines incurred due to late payments.
