- Ancestry.com Library Edition (in-library use only) - Contains an extensive amount of genealogical data, such as vital, census, immigration, and military records.
- HeritageHub - Contains United States obituaries and death notices from 1704 - present.
- Heritage Quest Online (in the library and at home) - Database of United States Census records, thousands of family histories, the PERSI database of periodical articles, and pension records from the Revolutionary War.

- Massachusetts Registry of Vital Records and Statistics - This department processes requests for birth, marriage and death records in MA.
- South Shore Genealogical Society - Meetings are at the John Curtis Free Library at 1:30PM on the second Saturday of the month from September through June.
