• Ancestry.com Library Edition (in-library use only) - Contains an extensive amount of genealogical data, such as vital, census, immigration, and military records.
• HeritageHub - Contains United States obituaries and death notices from 1704 - present. 
• Heritage Quest Online (in the library and at home) - Database of United States Census records, thousands of family histories, the PERSI database of periodical articles, and pension records from the Revolutionary War.

• Massachusetts Archives - Search the collection database, Index to Passenger Manifests, and Index to Vital Records.
• Massachusetts Registry of Vital Records and Statistics - This department processes requests for birth, marriage and death records in MA.
• South Shore Genealogical Society - Meetings are at the John Curtis Free Library at 1:30PM on the second Saturday of the month from September through June.

General

• Ellis Island Foundation - Free, searchable database of passenger lists and other information from 1892-1924. Free registration is required.
• National Archives - Includes United States census, military, immigration, and naturalization records, as well as instruction for conducting your search.
• USGenWeb - Volunteer-based resources, organized by state.
