Town of Hanover 2024 Excise Tax Bills Due March 11, 2024

Town of Hanover motor vehicle excise tax bills were mailed on February 5, 2024, and are due on Monday, March 11, 2024. Residents have several payment options available.

Online Payments

Payments may be made online by clicking the "Pay Your Bill" link. Please remember that bank charges are fee-based (UniPay Fee Schedule). Fees are based on the type of payment and the amount being processed. All fees for online payments are charged by the bank. The town has no control over fees assessed by the bank.

E-Check Payments

Electronic check payments should be addressed to the Town of Hanover Collector's Office, 550 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339.

Payment by Mail

Check payments should be mailed with a copy of the bill remittance to the Town of Hanover, Dept. 1400, PO Box 986535, Boston, MA 02298-6535. Late payments should be mailed to the Town of Hanover Collector's Office, 550 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339.

In-Person Payments

Taxpayers may make in-person payments at the Treasurer/Collector's Office (first floor as you walk into the main entrance). After-hours payments may be made by using the Town Hall front door mail slot.

Telephone Payments

The town is unable to accept payments over the telephone.
