Town of Hanover 2020 Annual Town Election Results
The Town of Hanover 2020 Annual Town Election was a great success with over 20% of voting population in participation. Unofficially, 2,234 Hanover residents showed up or voted by mail in the middle of a pandemic for this local election. Congratulations to all elected officials!
Every precinct balanced perfectly, and of course, every single vote was counted! The booths were cleaned after every voter, and every single voter wore a mask, stood in line, social distanced, and was extraordinarily patient. Many people helped including those from the Hanover Fire Department, Hanover Police Department, Hanover Emergency Management Agency, Community Emergency Response Team, Hanover High School, Department of Public Works, Community Development and Municipal Inspections, Hanover Town Hall personnel, COVID-19 special volunteers, and all of Hanover's election workers.
