2022 Roadway Resurfacing & Paving Work

Resurfacing/Paving Improvements

• Main Street

  • Approximate Limits of Work: Webster Street to Norwell Town Line
  • Proposed work includes cold planing/grinding of the existing roadway surface, placing a new leveling course of asphalt/pavement, raising and adjusting all structures (manholes, basins, etc.), placing a new finish course of asphalt/pavement, installing new pavement markings, & roadway shoulder restoration work (as needed).
  • Work is scheduled to take place in Mid-Late July

• Whiting Street

  • Approximate Limits of Work: Virginia Road to Norwell Town Line
  • Proposed work includes cold planing/grinding of the existing roadway surface, placing a new leveling course of asphalt/pavement, raising and adjusting all structures (manholes, basins, etc.), placing a new finish course of asphalt/pavement, installing new pavement markings, & roadway shoulder restoration work (as needed).
  • Work is scheduled to take place in Late June/Early July
  • Asphalt milling was completed on 06/28/22.
  • A leveling course of asphalt was placed on 06/30/22.

• Homestead Lane

  • Approximate Limits of Work: Whiting Street to Bayberry Lane
  • Proposed work includes cold planing/grinding of the existing roadway surface, placing a new leveling course of asphalt/pavement, raising and adjusting all structures (manholes, basins, etc.), placing a new finish course of asphalt/pavement, & roadway shoulder restoration work (as needed).
