Cedar School Security Improvements

    Status

    • Final design is 90% complete and is scheduled to be bid in early 2020. 
    • August 2, 2019 - Installation of a security film treatment on the existing curtain wall was completed.

    Summary

    • The 2019 Town Meeting approved design and installation of physical security upgrades at the Cedar School.
    • Goals of the project are to create a secure vestibule at the existing building entrance so visitors can be safely identified and cleared prior to gaining access to the school building.
