Whiting Street/Pleasant Street Construction
The DPW will begin cold planing Whiting Street and Pleasant Street on Wednesday, 9/23/15. This work is in advance of a project to overlay the entire length of both streets from Webster Street to the traffic lights in West Hanover Square. Work is being done by our business partner T.L. Edwards. Police details will be on-hand throughout the project to assist motorists with safe passage through the job site. While Whiting Street and Pleasant Street will remain open to two-way traffic, there will be some delays. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes if possible.
