Podium

The Town of Hanover is proud to announce the addition of a brand new podium, handcrafted by Jacob Ellis, a talented Hanover High School senior, that was unveiled at the April 3, 2023, Select Board meeting. The new podium is a beautiful and functional addition to the town's public meeting space.

Jacob Ellis is a talented and dedicated student who put in a great deal of time and effort to create the new podium. His hard work and attention to detail are evident in the finished product, which is crafted with care, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing.

The Town of Hanover is grateful for Jacob's contribution to the community and is excited to have the new podium available for use by town officials and speakers at public events and gatherings. With its high-quality craftsmanship and durability, the podium will serve the town well for many years to come.

Hanover Town Manager Joe Colangelo, along with the Hanover Select Board, expressed their thanks and gratitude to Jacob for his incredible work. "I learned a lot, " said Jacob. "I'm glad I could be a part of the project; I had a great time." Jacob took the challenge to design and create the podium in his wood shop class with guidance from his teacher, Jeff Faria.

The Town of Hanover would like to thank Jacob and all the students at Hanover High School who continue to demonstrate excellence in their work and achievements.
