State of Emergency in Hanover 2/9

Good Afternoon:

As of 1 am today, February 9, 2015, I have declared a State of Emergency in Hanover due to the arrival of blizzard conditions resulting  in 24 " of snow and not having access to fire hydrants due to being buried in snow banks.

We will  be looking at all options to get the fire hydrants opened up once the storm subsides to include  contacting MEMA and utilizing our own resources  when they become available.

Please take all precautions and be safe.  You can keep updated via Twitter @HanoverMA and Facebook for regular updates.

For information on Town Hall opening on Tuesdy, please call the main number, 781-826-5000, and dial 0.  The information will be available by 6AM on Tuesday.

Be Safe!
