Massachusetts Groundwater Flooding Survey 3/6/24

Developed by UMass Amherst and the Office of Massachusetts Energy and Environmental Affairs
UMass and Mass EEA

As part of an ongoing effort to comprehensively analyze groundwater resources and address groundwater flooding issues in Massachusetts, a statewide survey has been implemented for every citizen residing within the Commonwealth. This initiative seeks to gather information and insights directly from residents to better understand local groundwater dynamics, potential vulnerabilities, and areas prone to flooding.

By engaging citizens in this survey, the state aims to foster a collaborative approach to managing groundwater resources and mitigating flooding risks, ensuring the preservation of environmental quality and public safety for current and future generations across Massachusetts.
