Hanover's Name the Plow Contest has been Extended! 12/27/23

Name the Plow Contest

The Town of Hanover’s Second Annual Name the Plow Contest has been extended through the new year! Heaps of names have been collected, but only a few will clear the way! Be creative, have fun, and don't forget to submit your entry.

Last year, Hanover’s eight large plow trucks were given creative names like “Snowy Garcia”, “Rob Gronk-Plowski”, and “You’re Killing Me Squalls”. This year, we're introducing fresh names for our plows. Elementary school-aged students in Hanover are invited to join in on the fun!

About the Contest

Students are invited to work as a class, team, or individually to create and submit their entries. The winning submissions will be announced before Winter Break. Submissions will be reviewed and selected by the Hanover High School 2024 senior class officers! Each winning name will be affixed to a snow plow, and winning students and classes will have their pictures taken with their plow in early January.
