Hanover Emergency Management Agency Storm Information 12/18/23

Hanover has been impacted by a severe rain and wind storm today. As of 1:00 pm, a significant portion of the community is without power. Several roads are blocked with trees and other debris and electrical lines have been taken down throughout the community.

We urge all residents to remain home this evening and stay off the road. This will best ensure public safety and provide emergency and utility crews safe areas to work. At this time, National Grid has indicated that restoration for some customers may take up to 72 hours.

Downed Wires and Power Outages

If you encounter a downed wire, assume it is live, stay clear, and call 911.

If you do not have power, please call National Grid to report the outage at 800-465-1212.
