Flags Half-Staff for State Trooper Thomas Clardy 3/17-3/22

Please be advised that Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings effective immediately, until sunset on the day of interment, in honor of Massachusetts State Trooper Thomas L. Clardy of Hudson. Once formal arrangements have been made an update will be sent out in regards to the date of interment.

This gubernatorial order applies to:

1.  The main or administration building of each public institution of the Commonwealth, e.g. town and city halls

2.  Other state-owned or state-controlled buildings

3.  All state military installations

3/22/2016 Update:
Trooper Clardy’s interment is scheduled for today, Tuesday, March 22, 2016.  As such, please schedule flags to return to full staff at sunset this evening.
