The Town of Hanover has opened a ‘cooling center’ at the Senior Center given the heat and humidity today.
Fire Chief Blanchard is working with Council on Aging Director Robyn Mitton and CERT team volunteers to accommodate anyone who needs to use the opportunity to cool off.
The Chief will be in contact with Director of Community Services Tony Marino and we will be prepared to keep it open this evening in the event of a power outage or brownout that would trigger greater usage.
