Water Restriction Emergency

Hanover’s water tank levels are critically low; the lowest they have been in at least 15 years. Water use is currently exceeding our ability to replenish supplies, and our pumps are running 24/7, increasing the risk of equipment failure. This is a serious situation that requires immediate action from the entire community.
We are asking all residents to do their part by reducing water use wherever possible and eliminating nonessential uses, such as lawn irrigation. These conservation measures are essential to ensure adequate water remains available for fire protection, public safety, and basic household needs while helping maintain the reliability of our water system.
We strongly encourage residents to stay informed by reading the Town's ongoing updates, as conditions may change and additional restrictions may become necessary if conservation goals are not met. By working together and taking this situation seriously, we can help protect our limited water resources and preserve reliable water service for everyone in the community.
