Transfer Station Permit Sales and Upcoming Independence Day Holiday Schedule Reminder 6/25/26

As we begin the new fiscal year and prepare for the Independence Day holiday weekend, Hanover residents are reminded to renew their Transfer Station permits. Renew your permit before July 1^st to take advantage of discounted rates.

Special Holiday Permit Hours

To accommodate increased demand over the holiday weekend, Hanover Town Hall will offer extended permit hours:

• Friday, July 3 - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Sunday, July 5 - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

These additional hours are intended to help residents purchase or renew their permits before visiting the Transfer Station. To avoid delays, we encourage you to obtain your permit in advance.

Residents displaying expired green Transfer Station stickers will be directed to Town Hall to obtain a current permit before using the facility.

When purchasing your permit, please bring your driver's license and vehicle registration.

Regular Town Hall Permit Hours

Transfer Station permits may be purchased online or in person. All permits must be picked up at Hanover Town Hall, 550 Hanover Street, during the following hours:

• Monday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Tuesday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Wednesday - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Thursday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Friday - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
