Transfer Station Permit Sales and Holiday Weekend Reminder 7/2/26

As we kick off the new fiscal year and head into the July 4^th holiday weekend, Hanover residents are reminded to renew their Transfer Station permits. Transfer Station permits may be purchased online or in person. All permits must be picked up at Hanover Town Hall, 550 Hanover Street.

Special Holiday Permit Sales at Hanover Town Hall

• Friday, July 3^rd: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Sunday, July 5^th: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

These extended hours are being offered to help residents purchase or renew permits during what is expected to be a busy holiday weekend.

Regular Town Hall Permit Hours

• Monday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Tuesday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Wednesday - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Thursday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Friday - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Additional Information

As of July 1^st, a current FY27 Transfer Station permit is required to enter the Transfer Station. Residents displaying expired green permit stickers will not be permitted to enter the facility and will be directed to Town Hall to purchase a new permit before returning.

Avoid delays by renewing your permit before heading to the Transfer Station.
