Serve Your Community and Make a Difference in Hanover 6/15/26

Make A Difference

Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in your community? The Town of Hanover is seeking residents to serve on several boards and committees that help shape our town's future.

One opportunity to consider is the Affordable Housing Trust, which plays a vital role in supporting housing opportunities and planning for Hanover’s future. Serving on the Trust offers a chance to help address one of our community’s most important challenges while ensuring Hanover remains a welcoming place for residents of all ages and backgrounds.

There are many other ways to get involved. The Master Plan Implementation Committee helps guide Hanover’s long-term vision and priorities, while the Organic Fertilizers and Herbicides Study Committee explores environmentally responsible practices that impact public spaces, public health, and sustainability. Additional openings focus on transportation improvements, historic preservation, services for older adults, and other important community priorities.

Serving on a board or committee is one of the most rewarding ways to contribute your skills, share your perspective, and make a direct impact on Hanover’s future, all while connecting with neighbors who care deeply about our community.
