Town Meeting 2026
Town Meeting will continue for a second night on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM. Town Meeting registration is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
The Town of Hanover's Special and Annual Town Meeting will be held in person on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Hanover High School, located at 287 Cedar Street. Special Town Meeting will begin at 7:00 PM, and the Annual Town Meeting is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM.
You must check in prior to entering the meeting rooms, and you must be a registered Hanover voter and physically present to participate in Town Meeting.
Attendees are asked to carpool if possible. Additional handicapped parking spaces will be made available near the high school's front entrance.
If the Town Meeting takes more than one night to complete, it will most likely continue at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The decision on when and where the meeting will continue is made by the vote of the attendees at the Annual Town Meeting.
Town Meeting will not be accessible via Zoom, but viewers may watch live on the Town of Hanover's social media channels and on Hanover Community Television.

Parking and Accessibility
Parking will be available in the parking lots at both Hanover High School and Cedar Elementary School. Additional handicapped parking spaces will be accessible at the front and rear entrances of the high school.
