Get ready for two exciting days of festivities, live music, entertainment, family fun, and more at Hanover Day 2026! Join us at B. Everett Hall Field, 495 Hanover Street in Hanover, Massachusetts, on June 26-27, 2026. Fun for all ages! Enjoy carnival rides, delicious food trucks, a road race, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a juried art show, Battle of the Bands, a classic car show, a vendor craft fair, and so much more! Event Schedule and Highlights

Friday, June 26th (6: 00 pm to 10:00 pm)

  • Carnival with rides for all ages! Don’t miss the Scrambler, Genesis, Tea Cups, and more! Wristbands available for unlimited rides Friday night ($35 online, $40 onsite).
  • Live music and food trucks serving tasty treats.

Saturday, June 27th (10:00  am–11:00  pm)

  • Hanover Day 5K Road Race, starting at 8:30 am. Open to all ages with a fun run for younger kids.
  • All-day enjoyment at the Carnival. Tickets available per ride (cash only).
  • 3-on-3 Basketball games, vendor and craft fair, and food trucks.
  • Juried Art Show at Frame Center (152 Rockland Street). Opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 25th (6:00 pm to 8 :00 pm). Exhibits run through July 17th. Join the hardworking volunteers and talented artists of Hanover Day and celebrate with our creative community at the reception. Light refreshments and complimentary beer and wine will be served.
  • Classic Car Show showcasing neighborhood favorites.
  • Live performances, including youth ensembles, local bands, and headline acts.
  • The fireworks display, generously sponsored by McGee Toyota of Hanover, will be held at approximately 9:15 pm. Don’t miss the grand finale!

Parking and Event Information

  • Location: B. Everett Hall Field, 495 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339
  • Parking: Available at town lots (Sylvester School, Town Hall, Library), Briggs Stables (enter from Main Street only), and several church and business lots. Police will assist with traffic.
  • Payment: Carnival operates cash-only; ATMs are available onsite.
  • Safety: Alcohol is prohibited. Police and volunteers will be onsite to ensure a safe, welcoming atmosphere.

Complimentary Shuttle Service

A complimentary shuttle service will bring riders to B. Everett Hall Field (near Sylvester School) in Hanover’s town center. Two vans will run a continuous loop from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 27th, departing approximately every 15 minutes from the following locations:

  1. Hanover Council on Aging parking lot, 665 Center Street
  2. Legion Housing community building, 70 Legion Drive
  3. Barstow Village main door and circle, 60 Legion Drive
  4. Cushing Residences management office and circle, 1 Elmwood Farm Drive

About Hanover Day

Hanover Day is run by the Hanover Cultural Council. The Cultural Council raises money to fund Hanover Day through private donations and prior events that the HCC has sponsored. The fireworks display from 2013 through 2025 has been funded through a generous donation by McGee Toyota for the residents of Hanover to enjoy.
