Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is celebrated on the third Monday in January. In observance of the life and legacy of the civil rights leader (January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968), Hanover town offices will be closed.
Closures include the Hanover Town Hall, Department of Public Works, Council on Aging, John Curtis Free Library, Ames Way Brush Pile, and the Hanover Transfer Station.
