Town of Hanover Storm Cleanup, Power Restoration, and Openings Update 10/30/21
Currently, there are still a few areas in Hanover without power.
Warming Center and Charging Station
The Hanover Council on Aging, located at 665 Center Street, will be open today, October 30, 2021, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for residents who need a place to warm up or charge their electronic devices.
Transfer Station and Ames Way Brush Pile
As a reminder for this weekend, the Hanover Transfer Station at 118 Rockland Street is open and fully operational from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and the Ames Way Brush and Compost Pile at 229 Ames Way is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Residents are encouraged to utilize these facilities to clear out from the storm.
John Curtis Free Library
The John Curtis Free Library will be open today, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Downed Power Lines
Report downed utility lines by calling 911. Assume they are "live" and use extreme care around any downed wires.
