There are currently twelve notaries located in Town Hall. They are located in the Town Clerk’s Office, Licensing/Passport Office, Selectmen's Office, Tax Collector's Office, Assessor's Office, Conservation Office, Planning Board Office and Board of Health Office.
Documents needing notarizing should not be signed until the notary reviews the documents and checks the photo ID of the person needing the notarization. This is a complimentary service to all town residents.
If your schedule is tight and you want to make sure a notary is available, don’t hesitate to call one of the offices listed above to make sure a notary is available when you will be here.
