Sign-Up for the MGH Blood Drive in Honor of Matthew Westfield Scheduled for May 12, 2021

Until companies and schools are all back, it is anticipated that the blood supply will continue to be low. Please help Massachusetts General Hospital to boost supplies for patients in need.

The Matthew Westfield Blood Drive in Hanover began 34 years ago at Sylvester School and was started by Peggy Westfield, Matthew's mother and teacher at Hanover Public Schools. Matthew was treated at MGH for leukemia. During last year when the pandemic started, the blood drive was unable to be held at the schools. The drive moved has since moved and is now held at the Hanover Town Hall. The community response has been overwhelming and we hope for continued success and participation.
