Help Support the Hanover Food Pantry this Holiday Season 11/16/23

Vegetable Bed

In May 2023, the Hanover Food Pantry converted existing barriers to create raised beds for cultivating vegetables and herbs. This initiative, spearheaded by Kathy Murray in collaboration with the Hanover Department of Public Works, embraced a sustainable and continuous food source for the pantry.

During the growing season, fresh produce was picked on the morning of distribution days. This creative project not only enhances the pantry's capacity to provide fresh, nutritious, and locally sourced options for those in need but also allows clients to view the garden's growth from week to week.

Now that the growing season is over, the Hanover Food Pantry needs your help to keep the shelves stocked. There are a few locations in town where food items may be dropped off during winter. Items may be brought to the following locations:

Please note that the Hanover Food Pantry will be open on Monday, November 20, 2023, and closed on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, to accommodate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
