Baker-Polito Administration Announces Plans for Continued Reopening 4/27/21

On April 27, 2021, Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito joined Secretary of Health and Human Services Marylou Sudders and Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Mike Kennealy to provide an update on the reopening process.
Starting April 30:
- Anyone over the age of 5 must wear a mask outside in public when it isn't possible to socially distance or it's required by sector-specific guidance.
- Masks will still be required at all times in indoor public places and at events, whether held indoors or outdoors & whether held in a public space or private home, except for when eating or drinking.
- At smaller gatherings in private homes, masks are recommended but not required.
