Reopening of Town Basketball Courts and Playgrounds

As part of Phase 2 of Reopening Massachusetts, basketball courts and playgrounds in the Town of Hanover have been reopened. Please adhere to the following guidelines in respect to these outdoor spaces.
Town Basketball Courts
- SOLO DRILLS AND SHOOTING ONLY.
- Maintain 6 feet from all other persons.
- Do not share basketballs.
- Scrimmages, organized games and tournaments are not allowed.
- All persons over the age of two must wear a face covering.
- After visiting public spaces, users should wash their hands or use hand sanitizer.
Town Playgrounds
- EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE REGULARLY CLEANED USE AT OWN RISK.
- Persons using playgrounds must maintain 6 feet from all other persons.
- Parents, guardians and other adults supervising children should monitor children at all times to ensure children maintain proper distancing and adhere to requirements for face coverings.
- No groups larger than 10 are allowed to gather.
- Children and adults who feel sick or are recovering from an illness should not visit the playground.
- All persons over the age of two must wear a face covering.
- After visiting public spaces, users should wash their hands or use hand sanitizer.
