Hanover Winter Festival 2022

Winterfest is back! The Hanover Four Corners businesses will be hosting a Winter Festival on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, snow, rain, or shine.

All shops will be open to the public and luminaries will line the roadways on Washington Street, Church Street, and Broadway. The event includes carolers, a variety of crafts and decorations at local shops, and live performances. Print the event map and guide.

Features

  • Abbey Knoll Photography will be providing Pictures with Santa.
  • Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be providing everything you need to make s'mores at the fire pits in the square.
  • By The Sea will have a raffle, goodies, and a spot where kids can write and mail Santa a note.
  • Crafts at the Salmond School parking lot will be hosted by the John Curtis Free Library.
  • Four Corners Supply is hosting a scavenger hunt with prizes.
  • The Hanover Public Schools Store, Hawk's Nest, will be open for shopping at Salmond School, 188 Broadway.
  • Hoof N Whiskers 4H will be bringing their petting zoo again this year.
  • Ivy & Olives will be hosting a Magnolia wreath raffle to benefit the Hanover Food Pantry.
  • Mary Lou's will be serving 50-cent hot chocolate.
  • Mr. TV will be hosting the outdoor movie, Muppets Christmas, and serving popcorn.
  • Phoenix Lodge will be serving free clam chowder and giving tours of the Phoenix Lodge building.
  • Renovisions will be serving donuts and hot cider.

  • Saint Andrews will be hosting their annual cookie sale and a special music performance by Four Corners resident and cellist Cindy Newton.

Food and Drink

  • Food Trucks at Salmond School this year include Just the Dip, Mom on the Go, Thyme Travel, and Wanderlust.
  • Clam Chowder at the Phoenix Lodge.
  • 50-cent Hot Chocolate at Mary Lou's
  • Popcorn at Mr. TV
  • Donut Bar and Hot Cider at Renovisions
  • Abbey Knoll Photography will be hosting a beer garden with fire pits again this year at Fire Station #2. Our guest servers are Stellwagen Brewery and Myettes Store. Mary Lou's will be serving 50-cent hot chocolate.

Performances and Events

Two stages will be set up for dance performances, a strolling chorus, the church cookie sale, arts and crafts, and so much more! Bring your unwrapped gifts for Toys for Tots in the Square.

  • 5:45 pm: South Shore Ballet Theatre Nutcracker.
  • 6:10 pm: Shoestrings Studio.
  • 6:30 pm: Pembroke School of Performing Arts.
  • 7:00 pm: VOX Chorus.
  • 7:15 pm: The Connolly Academy of Irish Dance.

Salmond School Stage

  • 6:45 pm: The Connolly Academy of Irish Dance.
  • 7:15 pm: Pembroke School of Performing Arts.
  • 7:40 pm: VOX Chorus.

Saint Andrew's Church

  • 6:15 pm: Cellist Cindy Newton.

Parking and Road Closures

Parking is available in the Rockland Trust Plaza lot off Route 53.

Please be aware of the following road closures from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Seek an alternate route.
