2020 Roadway Reconstruction/Paving

The Town of Hanover, through its contractor T.L. Edwards, will place a top course of asphalt on our 2020 Road Rehabilitation/Paving Projects on June 18th & 19th.  Work is proposed to take place on the following streets:

  • Broadway (~250’ West of Cross Street to ~250’ East of Cross Street)
  • Cross Street
  • Elm Street
  • Myrtle Street (Cross Street to Center Street)
  • Riverside Drive
  • Webster Street (#96 Webster Street to Assinippi Ave)

During this phase of work, access to driveways, certain portions of roadways, and road shoulders may be temporarily closed to allow for work to safely proceed.  Motorists, pedestrians, and residents are asked to follow posted detours and adhere to any closures that may be in place.  The Hanover Police Department will be onsite to assist with traffic management, increase work zone safety, and enforce these potential restrictions.
