Curbside Pickup

The library is now open for both in-person and curbside service. For curbside service, call (781) 826-2972 x.2 when you arrive in the parking lot. Alternatively, you can pick up your holds at the desk on the second floor.

How do I know my item is ready?

You will receive an email notice/text or phone call when your item(s) is/are ready just as before.

I just received my pickup notice.  What do I do now?

When you arrive at the library to pick up your item(s) please call 781-826-2972 ext. 2. We will then check out your items on your card, provide you with your receipt and bring your item out to the black cart for you to pick up. If you do not have a cell phone to call us when you arrive just call the desk to arrange a pick up time.

When picking up your items

If you arrive at the same time as another patron, be courteous and practice social distancing.  Please wear facial coverings when you pick up your item(s).

I can't get to the library in person, what should I do?

We now offer a home delivery service if you are unable to come to the library. For more information, please call 781-826-2972 ext. 2.

Returns and Donations

Please place all returns in the book drop. Note: We are quarantining all returns for 7 days, items returned in our book drop may remain on your card for several days even after you have returned

We are not accepting donations at this time. The ‘free’ cart is for anyone to choose a book to take home for free courtesy of The Friends of the Library Booksale Room.

Curbside Printing

Curbside printing, scanning, copying, and faxing is now available during the library’s curbside pickup hours. 

How do I send a print job?

Click here to access our curbside printing page. Be sure to enter your email address correctly – we will need your email address to retrieve your print job. Color printing and copying is not available – black and white only.

How do I pick up my prints?

When you arrive at the library, call (781) 826-2972 x2 and let us know you are here to pick up prints. Staff will ask you for your email address. We will then print your documents, place them in an envelope, and leave them on the black cart next to the door.

How do I pay for my prints?

For the health and safety of our staff, we are not accepting cash payment for print jobs. We will add a bill to your library account for you to pay online. 

How do I scan, copy, or fax?

When you arrive at the library, call (781) 826-2972 x2 and let us know you are here to scan, copy, or fax a document. Next, leave your document on the black cart by the door. A librarian will retrieve your document, scan/copy/fax it for you, and return it to the cart.

Should I send my prints before I get to the library?

Yes. Print jobs can take up to 15 minutes to come through. Please be sure to wait at least 15 minutes before coming to the library.
