AT THE COUNCIL ON AGING!

The migration of Cuban born baseball players since the 1800s serves as the foundation of  much of Cuban baseball history.  The Castro regime abolished professional baseball at the end of the 1960-61 season, and players were faced with the dilemma of leaving behind their family, friends and their beloved homeland in order to play baseball professionally. This is not simply another baseball story, it is about the personal struggle these men and their families endured.

The Council on Aging is located at 665 Center Street, Hanover, MA.
