Water Main Break at Cedar Street 12/8

Water break on Cedar Street by High School.  Crews are making repairs, updates to follow.

When repairs are completed, you may experience dirty water from dislodged sediments in the pipes.  Should you experience this, we ask that you simply run cold water from your faucet for several minutes until it runs clear.  If you continue to see discolored water, we ask that you to please notify the Hanover Communications Center at 781-826-2335 x 0 between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. or notify the DPW directly at 781-826-3189 during normal business hours (between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.) and we will send someone out to inspect the issue and do any additional flushing of the system that may be required.  We apologize for this inconvenience.
