Town of Hanover West Nile Virus Update 8/12/22

The Hanover Health Office has been notified that our neighbors Abington, Rockland, and Whitman have West Nile Virus-positive mosquito pools as identified by the Department of Public Health Arbovirus Team.

At this time, West Nile Virus has not been detected in Hanover.

Residents are reminded and encouraged to use mosquito repellents with an EPA-registered active ingredient and to observe peak mosquito activity at dusk and dawn.
