The Last Day to Change Your Party or Register to Vote is August 27, 2022

The last day to register to vote or change your party for the State Primaries on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, will be Saturday, August 27, 2022. The Hanover Town Clerk’s/Registrar’s Office will be open until 5:00 pm on August 27^th, and online registration will be available until 11:59 pm that night.

Hanover residents who will be eighteen on or before September 6^th are encouraged to register to vote. Once registered, individuals will be eligible to vote in all elections thereafter. 

Register Online

You may register to vote or change your party status online, by mail, or in person. Register online by using the Massachusetts Online Voter Registration System.

Register by Mail

If residents choose to register by mail they should download the Massachusetts Mail-In Voter Registration Form and mail the completed form to the Hanover Town Clerk’s Office, located at 550 Hanover Street.

Register In Person

If voters wish to register to vote in person, they may do so at two convenient locations:

• Hanover Town Hall, 550 Hanover Street.
• Registry of Motor Vehicles.
