Call for Volunteers to Make Masks for Seniors 5/6/20

May 6, 2020

The Town of Hanover is looking for volunteers to craft fabric masks for our seniors. As you are aware, wearing masks in public has been recommended by the CDC to slow the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the chance of infection. If you have the ability (skill and equipment) to make cloth masks we need you!

We understand that materials are in short supply and there are many workarounds to make face coverings; we are hoping to collect cloth masks that attach with elastic (ribbon masks can be difficult to securely fasten).

If you are able and willing to make masks, please view and fill out our Town Volunteer Form. Be sure to check the box for Crafting cloth masks for seniors in the I am interested in helping with section.

If you have already signed up as a volunteer, please just email us at volunteer@hanover-ma.gov to let us know you would like to help with crafting masks.

Please feel free to also reach out by phone to the volunteer coordinators:
