Pursuant to a vote taken on April 29, 2021, under the authority of the Town of Hanover Bylaw 6-26, the Hanover Historical Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 pm on May 27, 2021, regarding the property at 733 Main Street, Hanover, MA:

According to that vote by the Commission, 733 Main Street and not more than three of its outbuildings (identified by Commissioners during the site visit, timber-framed workshop, and smokehouse, and possibly the chicken coop) meet the criteria under Bylaw 6-26 to be declared “significant” buildings.

Abutters and the property owner have been notified and the hearing has been posted on the Town of Hanover website. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear testimony from members of the public regarding whether the building(s) are "preferably preserved" under Bylaw 6-26.
