This represents 457 customers.  In order to restore power to smaller areas or individual customers, residents may see intermittent and short duration outages throughout the day. As a reminder, if your house service (the wires from the utility pole to your home) are damaged or down, the Town Wiring Inspector must check the issue prior to National Grid being able to make repairs. The John Curtis Free Library will be open today from 10:00am until 5:00pm and available for residents to warm up and charge their electronic devices.

Several major issues were corrected today and work will continue into the night and through the day tomorrow.  All customers are expected to have power restored by tomorrow night. If the service going from the telephone pole to your house or business has been damaged where it connects to the building, you will need to have a licensed electrician make the repair before National Grid reconnects the power. At 8:00 am, there will be a low flying helicopter in Town surveying damage. The John Curtis Free Library, located at 534 Hanover Street, will be open tomorrow as a warming/charging station.
