Mobile Integrated Health

Pandemic Response Plan

The Town of Hanover, collaboratively with all of its departments, has developed a Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program to address the needs of its most at-risk citizens.  Limitations like social distancing and quarantine create obstacles to medical care, especially for the isolated elderly and other socially and medically vulnerable populations.

Drive-Thru Testing Site Information

MIH Drive-Thru PCR TestingThe Town of Hanover is excited to offer COVID-19 drive-thru PCR testing for all Hanover residents. Drive-thru testing is held at the Sylvester School building, located at 495 Hanover Streetdaily from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PMPre-registration is required. You must register by 6:00 AM the day of testing and you may register up to two weeks in advance. Your Hanover address will be verified upon arrival at the testing site.

Exhibiting Symptoms

If you are a Hanover student, school staff member, or family of a student and are sick, contact your school nurse as soon as possible. Your school nurse has the training, expertise, and authority to make informed decisions on how you should proceed if you are faced with a health issue. If you meet the criterion for COVID-19 testing, the school nurse will work with the Hanover Fire Department to schedule the procedure.

    Guidelines

We ask that everyone continue to follow the Commonwealth of Massachusetts COVID-19 Regulations and Guidelines: wear a mask, wash your hands, social distance, avoid large crowds and stay home if you are ill or under a quarantine/isolation order.
