Water Main Flushing 6/7

The Water Division of the DPW will be performing water main flushing on June 7, 2018 from 9am to 2:00 p.m.  The streets affected include:

Pleasant St.

Lincoln Ln.

Brook Cir.

Jefferson Rd.

Franklin Rd.

Hoover Rd.

Jackson Rd.

Monroe Rd.

West Ave.

Maple Ave.

Old School House Ln.

Mill Brook Way

Anderson Farm Ln.

Village Ln.

Whiting St.

Homestead Ln.

Thorney Meadow

Azalea Way

Bayberry Ln.

While the hydrants are open in your neighborhood, you may experience discolored water or a small drop in water pressure. In the unlikely event your water service is interrupted or you are experiencing no water pressure please notify the DPW as soon as possible at 781-826-3189.  Should your water appear reddish, yellow or brown, do not be alarmed. It is recommended you do not use the water or do laundry for two hours after noticing this discoloration.  After you have waited, run your cold water tap (without the aerator screen) for five to ten minutes.  This should remove any sediment from inside your service.  If you continue to see discolored water, we ask that you call the Water Department at 781-826-3189 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m.).  If you are calling outside of normal business hours please call the Hanover Communications Center at 781-826-2335 x 0.
