Water Main Break 2/4

Main break at 1352 Broadway.  Water off on Broadway from Sunset Point to Cross Street, approx 30 homes without water.  Estimated repair time 1:00pm. 

Update-Repair complete, in process of recharging main. Water should be fully restored by no later than 1:00 pm.  Upon completion of repairs, you may experience dirty water from dislodged sediments in the pipes. Should you experience this, we ask that you simply run cold water from your faucet for several minutes until it runs clear. If you continue to see discolored water, we ask that you call the Water Department at 781-826-3189, and we will send someone out to inspect the issue and do any additional flushing of the system that may be required.
